Forest Hill
Forest Hill is among the city’s most prestigious neighbourhoods with its tree canopy, winding roads and gently sloping hills. It is comprised mostly of large homes built in the 1920s and 1030s and luxury condominiums.
The neighbourhood’s main shopping area – known as “The Village” – is located on Spadina near Lonsdale, and has a distinctly cozy and small-town feel. Forest Hill is bordered by St. Clair to the South, Oriole Parkway to the East, Bathurst Street to the West and Briar Hill Avenue to the North, with Eglinton acting as a dividing line between the ‘upper village’ and ‘lower village’.
Forest Hill has some of the city’s best schools including two of Canada’s most prestigious private schools: Upper Canada College for boys and Bishop Strachan for girls. Forest Hill is located in Toronto Real Estate District C03.
