Where will you be celebrating New Year’s?
Written On December 27, 2017
New Year’s Eve is just around the corner. How are you going to celebrate the end of 2017? New Year’s Eve is one of the busiest nights in Toronto and there are hundreds of events to choose from this Sunday, but we’ve narrowed it down to three of our favourites!
The ROM: The Royal Ontario Museum will be hosting their annual New Years Eve party on December 31st at 9:00pm. This year the party’s theme, Glamour, was inspired by their current Christian Dior exhibition. The exhibition will be open from 9:00pm to midnight for guests to stroll through while sipping champagne. There will be DJs, live music, and a Christian Dior photo booth. Tickets start at $90 per person.
Steam Whistle NYE House Party: This year, Steam Whistle Brewery is transforming their home into the ultimate New Years Eve house party. With themed rooms, live DJs, karaoke, and a photo booth, The Roundhouse has everything you’re looking for. Tickets are $60 and include coat check and all non-alcoholic beverages.
Nathan Philips Square: Much like watching the ball drop in Times Square, celebrating at Nathan Phillips Square is a classic New Years activity. Completely free, this event has everything from DJs to live electronic music. Tim Horton’s is even hosting a skating party! When the clock strikes midnight, Canada’s 150th year will end with a sweeping firework display over the city.
Last, but certainly not least, another one of our favourite ways to spend the last evening of the year is at home with friends and family. Settling down by the fire, making a meal together or simply relaxing on the couch, watching the countdown on television and enjoying each other’s company.
Happy New Year from all of us at The Heaps Estrin Team!
