We are kicking things off by introducing you to Martha Grant, a PR and communications maven with a passion for beautiful homes, delicious food, New York City, and above all, family.
Lessons learned – “Hustle. Humility. Street smarts.” These were the three ingredients that Martha’s mother cited as a recipe for success. Martha took those words of wisdom to heart and has parlayed them into a successful career, first in PR and more recently in real estate.
A tale of two cities – Martha and her husband are currently raising their four, now-teenaged children in both Toronto and Port Hope. Over the years they have lived in Moore Park, Leaside and Playter Estates….and they also spent nine blissful years living amidst the dazzling lights of New York City.
A few of her favourite things – Martha’s affinity for both Toronto and NYC centres on her love of world-class theatre, great restaurants, and enviable green space (she loves running in Central Park and throughout Toronto’s lush ravine system).
Making headlines – A self-proclaimed extrovert, Martha has always been energized by her connection with people. The first chapter of her career was spent hustling to make headlines in the PR world. She took this drive and skillset and pivoted to a career in real estate, joining the Heaps Estrin Team close to five years ago. This transition offered Martha the opportunity to combine several of her passions, including, architecture and interior design, with her professional life in an equally client-focussed endeavour. And, thanks to her savvy PR and communications background, Martha is still making headlines, this time for Heaps Estrin clients whose listings she has had featured in publications such as The Globe and Mail, BlogTO, and even the prestigious New York Times.
