Above all, this is a publication created for you that will seek to move the conversation beyond the conventions of typical real estate-related discourse and elevate your real estate experience beyond the transactional buy and sell. In other words, it is not just another real estate magazine; it is a lifestyle magazine.
Why a magazine? I have always loved a beautifully produced publication. As most of our reading habits have moved over to the jarring backlight of glowing screens, there is something comforting about the ritual of leafing through the pages of a beautiful book.
The Heaps Estrin team is always looking for ways to engage in meaningful dialogue with our community. BEYOND will provide us with another important forum to do just that. The content will consist of thought-provoking pieces by award winning journalists and industry experts, a plethora of design inspiration for those seeking to reimagine their own spaces—or who are simply in the market for some cutting-edge eye candy—and newsy reports about your city, your neighbourhood and more.
As always, we are so grateful to our community for your ongoing support and for continuing to inspire us to raise the bar in our industry. It was that kind of inspiration that served as the catalyst for The Lobby, a first-of-its-kind concept space in Canadian real estate, which we opened in 2022. You can read about The Lobby’s upcoming collaboration with Fogo Island Workshops (“Maritime Style,” page 27) in this issue.
