Let Us Help You Declutter

Drop by our Heaps Estrin Team office for our 2nd Annual Spring Cleaning Event at 1391 Bayview Avenue (at the corner of Bayview and McRae Avenue). Join us for a little fun, a few treats and a lot of decluttering!

Heaps Estrin Spring Clean Event

Sunday, May 26th 2019
From 1 to 4pm

Diabetes Canada Donation will be on site, as well as Habitat for Humanity, so you can drop off unwanted clothes, books, toys and household items and we will make sure that they are sorted and donated to those in need. Shred-it will also be on hand for safely shredding and recycling all of your sensitive documents.

We look forward to celebrating Spring with you and helping you declutter!

Here is our list of what ReStore can accept:

  • Furniture, lighting, and home décor in gently used condition with no damage, broken pieces, or excessive staining.
  • Bathroom fixtures
  • Renovation Materials, tools, and hardware
  • Doors, windows, and flooring – For flooring we require a minimum donation of 100 s/f of product.
  • Appliances – Clean and in good working order.

Donated items must be in good, working condition. ReStore will not accept items that are:

  • Damaged, broken or excessively stained or dirty
  • Mildewed, moldy or water damaged
  • Hazardous waste and industrial supplies

What type of donations will Diabetes Canada accept?

Household Items

  • Kitchenware
  • Small household appliances
  • Cookware/Pots & Pans
  • Cutlery/Utensils
  • Bakeware
  • Tableware
  • Barware

Fitness, recreation and sporting goods

  • Small electronics – cell phones, laptops, tablets, PDA, cameras, CDs and VHS and flat screen TV
  • Toys, games and gaming consoles
  • Luggage
  • Hand tools

Textiles

  • Clothing (all types)
  • Shoes and boots (all types)
  • Accessory and bags
  • Sleeping bags
  • General cloth items – bedding and bath items

Books

  • Hardback and paperback books

Donations that Diabetes Canada will NOT ACCEPT

  • Large appliances and furniture
  • Freezers, washer/dryers, refrigerators
  • Oil, gas or water heaters
  • Sofa beds and coil or slat springs for beds
  • Organic and hazardous materials
  • Opened containers of paint or other liquid substances
  • Sheets of glass or other building supplies
  • Gas BBQ’s
  • Food
  • Infant Products
  • Cribs, walkers, playpens, car seats
  • Other items
  • Swing set, ping pong tables
  • Carpet and vacuum cleaners
  • Newspaper and magazines
  • Pet cages (i.e. dog cage)
