Agent Spotlight: Sandra O'Neill

As part of our HET Spotlight series, allow us to introduce Sandra O’Neill. Among the many hats she wears, Sandra is a trusted real estate advisor, an active Leaside community member, and a grateful Sick Kids mom. Read on to learn more.

When asked what drew her to a career in real estate, Sandra reflects on her love of interior design, architecture, and her passion for working with people. If pressed to distill it down to one word, though, it would be: joy. More than anything, Sandra loves “being a part of the joyful moments” in her clients’ lives. She loves finding people their dream homes and ensuring that they are skillfully represented as she helps them turn dreams into reality.

As far as negotiating goes, clients can rest assured that they are in the best hands with Sandra as she has been honing those skills since she was an eight-year-old aspiring lawyer. Opening arguments may have been replaced by offer nights, and beautiful homes have taken the place of courtrooms, but the savvy representative in Sandra remains as she expertly advocates on behalf of her clients, ensuring the best possible outcomes time and again.

A lifelong Torontonian, Sandra is thrilled to call Leaside home, where she resides with her husband and two young boys (thanks to a wonderful, blended family dynamic, the bustle in the house often swells to include two more). The active family loves to make the most of all that Leaside has to offer and can often be found rink-side or at the baseball diamond, depending on the season.

Sandra’s passions are varied, from real estate, to tennis, to her beloved Balsam Lake cottage; none, however, hold a candle to her love of family. A Sick Kids parent, Sandra gratefully credits the survival of her now-thriving nine-year-old to the hospital and to the generosity of organ donors. She gives back by fundraising and, to date, has been able to raise more than 120k for this most worthy cause. She also remains vocal about the importance of organ donation and expresses her gratitude by spreading the word, “if I can inspire even one person to add their name to the list of donors, I’ll feel as though I’ve made a difference.”

When asked about the best advice she’s received, Sandra answers thoughtfully, “Always look forward.” Given her exceptional career, cherished home life, and her determination to carry on even when faced with adversity, that advice, it seems, has served her very well.

We are so thankful to count Sandra among our treasured Heaps Estrin family and join her in “looking forward” to many more wonderful years ahead.
