COVID-19 For Our Team Means Stepping in and Stepping Up in Any Way That We Can
We hope you are staying well despite these unsettling, unusual times. How startling it is to see how quickly the world can change. Like you, we are worried for our parents, our elderly neighbours and the vulnerable. We think of the doctors, nurses, police officers and paramedics who can’t stay home to take shelter from this global pandemic. We also think of the thousands of people who have lost their jobs and are worried for their families.
As a local business, our communities are a fundamental part of our existence and we believe that giving back to the communities we live in makes for better neighbourhoods and a better city. Our communities are where our children go to school and where we come home to at the end of a long day. Our communities are where our friends are, our neighbours are and where the centre of our universe exists. In times of fear and trial, as humans, we take comfort in the familiarity of our communities. The recognizable sounds and faces of our neighbours, the parks, coffee shops and school yards. We are moms, dads, brothers, sisters, daughters and sons- we are human.
Professionally, we are advisors for clients who rely on us in booming markets to protect and maximize their largest asset. When the market softens, we are committed to working harder, later and smarter to achieve the best results.
When there’s a divorce, job loss, we’re there, it’s part of who we are. And sometimes, working through tough markets or circumstances means pushing through when it’s more diplomatic to lay low. The public nature of our business often makes us targets for criticism and judgement but if it means representing our clients best interest, we’re okay with that.
Working through COVID-19 for us means staying home while staying committed to our clients and our communities. When the showings must go on, it means strict sterilization, visitor vetting and an extreme level of care to protect all involved because nothing is more important than the health and safety of our families, clients, friends and partners.
Lastly, COVID-19 for us means stepping in and stepping up in any way that we can, no strings attached. We’re happy to help, just ask, because we would share our last bottle of hand sanitizer with you.
